ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Sebastián G.A.
Sebastián G.A. was born in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, México and raised in the United States for the majority of his life. In the first 7 years, half of it was spent in silence due to an overgrowth of the frenulum tissue underneath his tongue, restricting his ability to talk. This led him to adapt to a form of wordless communication causing him to have to think differently than most children his age. Struggling with speech impediments and having to learn English while retaining his Spanish, made for the development of an eccentric young man.
Having had graduated from Maharishi International University, Sebastián gained his Bachelor’s degree on the holistic art of alternative medicine from India; AyurVeda, a sister science of Yoga. He also became certified as a culinary Ayurvedic cook, thanks to Bhagavad Life’s ANACT culinary program in New York, NY.
Sebastián never planned on becoming an author and struggled to gain footing to make a carrier from the degree he acquired. After graduating he found himself questioning everything in his life, and if this knowledge of AyurVeda, is truly what he wishes to share with the world. After a workshop he attended in Manhattan New York, and in enjoying the delicious Ayurvedic food his mentor makes at her restaurant (Divya’s Kitchen), he realized the ironic truth of his reality. He gained a degree that he enjoyed and that he learned to become a more conscious human being, but he never intended it for it to be used for outside of his personal uses.
Once he accepted his disinterest in becoming a holistic consultant, he fell into a pit of introspection where all he could think about was who he is in comparison to who he was. In doing so, he recalled how philosophy at one point had an influence on him. He reminisced about his friends at the start of college who introduce philosophy to him by emulating Plato’s Symposium. It were these moments that left an impression on Sebastián that later helped him return to his roots of who he is instead of what others were telling him to be.
He considers himself a student of life who now wishes to share his love for literature and art. From music, to philosophy, poetry, religion, and science, Sebastián views these concepts as intertwine and as parts of the same whole. He wishes to help those of this time to unravel these concepts away from separateness, and unify them as they ALL stem from the same origin of creation. That which created our Universe, created ALL that is. That which created ALL that is, created our existence and purpose to live. Why? That’s not for me to tell you. Cheers to your beautiful life and unfoldment my friend. WELCOME !
